If you want to focus more on your skincare in 2026, you’re in the right place, as we’re here with 4 things that you can do to get glowing! The key to getting glowing skin is to focus on both what you’re eating and drinking as well as what you put onto your skin. There’s a lot of different advice out there, so we’re here to keep things more simple for you, with more of a focus on general tips that don’t require huge amounts of expensive skincare or effort!

Eat Plenty of Vitamin C

Firstly we’re starting with how you can glow from the inside out. Vitamin C is so important for the skin, as it has strong antioxidant properties, supports the skin’s production of collagen which is important for skin firmness, and it also helps to brighten the complexion. Whilst using skincare products can be beneficial for the skin, you should prioritise consuming it in your diet too. Foods high in vitamin C include citrus fruits like oranges, peppers, strawberries, kiwi, broccoli and leafy greens. Try to fit more of these foods into your diet and it can help your skin to glow!

Prioritise Your Hydration

Something else that is important to brighten your skin from the inside out is to prioritise your hydration. Drinking enough water (6-8 glasses a day) is important to help with skin elasticity, flushing out toxins and reducing inflammation. It can also help to encourage blood flow to the skin to even out the tone. If you can also reduce alcohol and sugary drinks, this can further help to keep the skin more hydrated and also reduce inflammation. So, aim to drink more water throughout the day, along with hydrating foods like cucumbers, celery and watermelon.

Use Cream Products

Another good way to help your skin to glow is to use cream products rather than powders. Swapping your powder bronzer for cream bronzer and your powder blush for cream blush can make such a big difference, as powders can be drying on the skin, whereas the cream formula is more hydrating and gives an instant glow to the skin. After applying your base (foundation or tinted moisturiser) then apply your cream bronzer and blush, then concealer, and set any areas prone to creasing (undereyes, around the nose and chin for many people) lightly with powder. Finish off your look with mascara and your favourite lip gloss to transform your makeup into a glowy look.

Get Enough Sleep

You also need to be prioritising your sleep when it comes to your skin, as it gives it time to rejuvenate and repair, particularly helping to increase collagen and also to regulate hormones, which both help to improve your skin. Your body needs enough sleep to recover, not just for your skin, so prioritising this is so important. Make sure you’re getting 7-8 hours of sleep to put your skin in the best position possible!
