Measure up from
your HEEL or end of your FINGERTIPS, to 1-1/2 inches above the top of the
cast or prosthesis.
You must
precisely measure the circumference around the arm or leg at this point.
This is where the opening of the XeroSox will fit against your skin.
Select the XeroSox
that has an opening at least 1 to 1-1/2 inches SMALLER than the
circumference of your arm or leg.
The XeroSox
stretches comfortably to over twice the opening size but will collapse and
conform to the size of the cast once you begin squeezing the pump and
extracting the air - so it doesn't hurt to have a product that is too long
or has too large of a foot length - because the most critical measurement
is the opening which must stretch to fit in order to create the
waterproof seal.
